Hutchins Memorial Auditorium can be configured for almost any activity. Total floor space is in excess of 17,000 square feet. This includes a large auditorium with seating for 1700. The area has tiered permanent seating (1332) and space for 368 folding chairs or a wrestling ring. On either side of the auditorium are rooms suitable for seminars, training or other activity. The Otoe room was even used by the city as the traffic court complete with judge's bench. The Ponca room has a low stage for intimate performances. Including the Osage, Tonkawa, Sunshine and Kaw rooms as many as eight events can be arranged simultaneously. In the main room there is a sound system and lighting for performances that require it. The elevated stage measures 46 by 38 and a half feet. The local community concert groups have been using Hutchins Memorial Auditorium since its construction in 1962. Configurations and Capacity LimitsMeeting Rooms Concession Stand All events guests must be out of the building by: Breakdown and clean up must begin 30 minutes prior to guest departure. This includes bands, disk jockeys, concessions, food services and bars. |
